You are an exception.

There are way too many things wrong with that bike.

Not if he enjoys it.
I was implying to in terms of trends and today's standards.
Instead of big bars he has big dropouts.

I haven't ridden bars bigger than like 25" on a BMX, but the wide ones on my mountain bike aren't comfortable to me. I have mine cut a little too short, though, going to get new ones sometime this year.

Wide Mtb bars don't feel right. Wide bmx bars do.
I bought my beringers cheap off ebay and thats why I joined the trend. I needed bars |
The bars on my mtb are around 30", nice and wide for DH.
Oh for DH its good, not for hardtail
is that wood?
Aluminum?
It's hideous, that's what it is.
It's weird.
It's a DH/Freeride hardtail, built to be as stiff as possible without snapping.
