Harder to set up.

eightdip 12-31-06 05:28 PM

Meh not really, chain gets in the way on chainstays

wethepeople 12-31-06 05:39 PM

Doesn seem to be a problem for him.

On alot of new frames you can run 25-9 without problems.

premiumbmx2005 12-31-06 05:53 PM

how you liking the united?

bmxinvasion 12-31-06 07:27 PM

United trinity rides sweet , I have it for about 2 months and really like the frame. I think you can run a 25/9 set up with the fly brakes I have about an inch of clearance in between the brake and the chain but I'm a little bit leary about running the 9 tooth driver seen so many broken down. I weighed this 20.5 frame with the gyro tab hardware on a digital scale its 5lbs. 5 ozs. I think this is as lite a frame I'm going to run.

premiumbmx2005 12-31-06 07:39 PM

yeah i would never run a 9t they always blow up. 5.5 is plenty light

one more question; hows the attack stem?

bmxinvasion 12-31-06 07:49 PM

The attack stem is nothing special just wanted a red one and this is all dans had.;)

On the Dans website, doesn't it say the frame weighs more than that? I'm too lazy to look it up.

It might be the 20.8 top tube being the heaviest at 5.8

Madera protocol cranks

FitRider 921 01-07-07 10:54 AM

Why would you get a Fit Pro frame? And how are the cranks treating you?

...Actualy i beleive the Madera cranks are more "rounderer" (i couldn't of a better way to describe them...) than Profiles.

Nice colors. But like those pedals look funky with the cranks, it's like they are out of proportion.

True with the madera to profile comparison. True with the pedals and cranks. Still a nice bike (besides the frame).

premiumbmx2005 01-07-07 09:17 PM

theyre the same exact crank without the final shaping process.
