Why use them legally? thats the joy of living in the country, sure I'm 35minutes from the closest store but I can play with all my toys.

I just got back, and just found out I have a job interview tomorow for a job that I don't even know if I want.

bmx2478 06-03-07 03:12 PM

what is the job?

FitRider 921 06-03-07 03:55 PM

Bus boy. Supposedly makes $120+ per night.

cwt341 06-03-07 05:35 PM

wow if you can really make 120.00+ a night busing tables i would do it

MadMan2k 06-03-07 06:00 PM

That's only if the people give you lots of big tips though. Around here you couldn't get very much, people are poor.

East Hill 06-04-07 03:42 AM

It's also extremely hard work...

When you start paying taxes, the IRS will assume that you are hiding some of your income when you're in a job like that (because you get minimum wage, but with cash tips).

That $120 a day turns into a lot less when taxes are taken out.

cwt341 06-04-07 05:24 AM

^ True but around here you could probably make that 120+ a day depending on where you work because we have some very nice and expensive restraunts around here.

FitRider 921 06-04-07 01:12 PM

The area in which the restaurant is situated in is not quite poor, to say the least. I don't have the interview today, but I'm sure I will soon. My mom's friend works there so she is going to hook me up.

Well actually, i'm going to be getting a real job soon. Either working at a local bike shop or a local pet shop. Etiher way i'll end up spending all the money i make on crap. :)

FitRider 921 06-04-07 08:34 PM

Put some of your money in the bank so you don't spend it all on worthless crap.

live4muzic 06-04-07 08:39 PM

mom is waitress and only the waitresses get tips arounds here. then she tips the bus

There's no way. If i work at a bike shop, i'll be getting all these new parts i don't need, but are nice. And if i work at the pet shop, i'll be getting another beta fish, and getting him a pretty kick ass tank. Hahaha.

FitRider 921 06-05-07 12:51 PM

My mom makes me put most of the money I make in the bank. I get $35 a game from umping, and $25 of it goes in the bank. I know the same thing is going to happen if I get this job.

gnr rocker 06-05-07 03:30 PM

tell your mom to stick it. tell her how you feel. the way you put it, she sounds like satan

I blew the tyre in the middle riding some trails yesterday, to much pressure in the tire caused a stick to go through it rather then allow the tire to conform around it. Oh well, it needed new tyres anyways, these didn't hook up and they're from 1983. thats $200 gone and I still need a brake job and a front tyre.

gnr rocker 06-05-07 03:48 PM

ill. i've been contemplating getting some blackwaters for my quad

Told her before... doesn't work.

She is.

Smoothrecluse 06-05-07 11:28 PM

I had those same rear tires on my old suzuki fourwheeler

wethepeople 06-05-07 11:39 PM

Are they any good? Do they wear down quick on concrete?

Smoothrecluse 06-06-07 09:18 AM

I lived out in the country and didn't get them on concrete... but we had asphalt roads and that didn't seem to wear them down at all.

The song "Hicktown" by Jason Aldean is perfect for my town and the ones around it.

gnr rocker 06-06-07 04:10 PM

for us it's the boondocks song

FitRider 921 06-06-07 07:48 PM

For my town, it's "Straight Outta Compton."

gnr rocker 06-06-07 08:02 PM

You do realize that Compton isn't in NY right?

East coast is better beerman. You may have nicer weather, but we have real dirt and clay.
