Okay, I have all that I need for the powder coating.

minichamp31 05-31-07 01:57 PM

That's the same bike as mine, except for mine's a 2007. And GT seats are awesome!

My LAF cracked yesterday, so my friend Nick lent me his Psykopath to use until I come up with some cash.

eightdip 05-31-07 04:37 PM

My friend is 'sponsored' by Psykopath. They look nice

Really nice ride

CMcMahon 05-31-07 04:50 PM

Yeah, it went together way easy. Blame the lack of brakes and all the integrated/pressfit stuff.

FitRider 921 05-31-07 04:51 PM

I never saw any of their stuff. Any info on the frame?

gnr rocker 05-31-07 04:51 PM

psykopath.com

It's pretty much a US-made Pantera.

premiumbmx2005 05-31-07 05:01 PM

where/how did the laf crack

FitRider 921 05-31-07 05:03 PM

If I'm reading this correctly (and hopefully I'm not), it weighs four pounds.

wethepeople 05-31-07 05:05 PM

Thats the race frame, hence the canti studs.

FitRider 921 05-31-07 05:11 PM

I hoped you wold tell me something like that. The interface is difficult to figure out.

On the toptube, along the weld where it hits the headtube. I have no idea; I nosecased into the frontside of a landing a couple weeks back at the trails, but the crack was either very small then and expanded, or it happened later.

wethepeople 06-01-07 12:25 AM

You going to get another L.A.F? And what size's does the Psychopath frame come in?

CMcMahon 06-01-07 02:54 AM

If I can warranty it, sure, why not? If not, I'll probably get a Solid AA once I get some cash.

callumrides 06-01-07 03:08 AM

S&M only do crash replacement and they only give you a certian % off the frame. Thats what happened to my friend when he cracked his LAF.

If i'm correct, S&M let's you chose from any Fit, Metal or S&M frame for their warranty.

If i was you i wouldn't get what i cracked again. Maybe a Stricker or Homan...

I love my Solid AA though. :)

CMcMahon 06-01-07 12:57 PM

I probably would get a LAF again, actually. It took a year and a half to break it, and it felt perfect.

KinetikBiker 06-02-07 05:28 AM

Hmm. I guess that makes sense.

But you know you want a Solid.

wethepeople 06-02-07 03:40 PM

KinetikBiker 06-02-07 04:45 PM

WTP has all the fun toys. I'm jealous.

wethepeople 06-02-07 05:21 PM

WTP works so WTP can play.

cwt341 06-02-07 05:24 PM

good point ^

KinetikBiker 06-03-07 09:08 AM

I couldn't even store all the toys he has. Let alone ride and use them legally.
