Yeah, lower your seat... it scares me having a seat that high. I always think I'm going to hit myself in the nuts.

The brakes are nicer than just about any BMX brand ones...

Of course the best brakes of all are none, but I'll stop preaching

Wow, nice bike and photos! Love the studio shots.

Couple q's, first to what type of riding is that frame best suited and secondly, how's the feel of that hub compared to your I9? Discernable difference?

Wow. I don't think his fat aunt would weigh around 24-26 lbs at birth.

Looks so good. The seat defiently needs to be lowerd though, and the bars aren't inline.

thanks. yes, the brakes are the main thing i should have just went with the norm. i could have just got the Revenge brakes or something, but i can't change that now. i think i understand why this type of bike should have the 990 style. i should have taken the original advice from people a long time ago.

as for the hubs, i love them. very different...the rear anyway

the hub seems really cool. i cannot speak of its durability yet. nor will i ever be as rough on it as some of you are. i am not at that skill level.

yes, the engagement is instantaneous.

i will lower seat before i go riding

i am envious of the professional shots always being posted in the mtb section. i did my best... (see the diaster photo above. the timer went off after total collapse.)

i am not a bmx expert, but i believe this frame is kind of their do-all frame for street/dirt type riding. the frames are made at waterford cycles.

basically no comparison with the I9. it is literally instantaneous. i mean i am not saying it matters, makes a better rider, etc...it is just pretty cool. when feeling for play on the I9's at the crank end you still have some between the clicks. when you do this same thing with the Stealth, there is none.

while riding, it is totally silent. you hear the tires on the pavement. that is kind of weird itself. i would buy them again or maybe even for another bike. seems like they would be good for trials.

we'll see how they hold up. they appear to be made very nicely. only thing is, i am not the best to put them through a punishment test. so they will probably last just fine for me.

price, i am a bit embarrassed to say. let me preface it by saying that it was mostly my last tax return before going back to school and i splurged like the money didn't need to go elsewhere. $1500 is an underestimate. ...but even if you subtract the oddball stuff i got like brakes, seat post, or hubs...it was still around that price. i guess bmx'ers can be expensive too. i didn't set-out to make it that much but when you build your own bike, things just start adding up.

not sure what a good weight is...but about 26lbs (crudely weighed with me on bath room scale minus my weight). so it is not exactly light i guess.

Jesus, that seat is high. I have to wonder what made you go for those hubs, too; I'm fairly positive that those are designed for racing...
