The fake bike check thread.

h3y GuYs wAtz uR dReAM bIkE?!?!?!!)%&)@(%?

For real though. I think i allready made a thread like this but oh well.

Mine would be my current set up with a Profile cassette and mini front both laced to Odyssey 7kA rims. And a Coalition seat and Fit post (which i allready ordered...) Maybe some S&M XLT forks and XLT Slams as well.

Fit Edwin, Odyssey Dirt forks, Odyssey Civilian bars, Odyssey Wombolts, Sealed Mag Jim C's, 7kA and G-sport marmoset front, KHE Geisha and City Lite rear, Shadow V2, Macneil Capital, Animal Edwin grips, ASM and GLH tires.

I'd buy that exact setup if I was rich and actually needed a bike.

I can't make a dream bike yet because I don't know what frame I would get... no frame currently comes in my specifications.

Same here, I just said those frames because they're nice frames.

20.2/2.5 toptube, short cstays, decently light (but not under 5 pounds), very strong... the only frames that fit those specs are the fly mosca (which two of my good friends already have and I cant copy them) and the fit hawk... but I've heard that the fit hawk isn't so strong

20-20.1 toptube, stays around 13.5 or smaller, light, under 5 pounds will do nothing over 5.5.

Pretty much the same... except I'm too scared to use a frame under 5 pounds to ride street... it's probably not a great idea.

I do lite street, I would do it alot more but there is absolutley _nothing_ here to ride. I've become more a park/trails guy. I ride enough trails to warrent brakes but not enough to need a longer backend.

Any 20.5 brakeless frame with a good paint job and shorter chainstays is pretty much fine for me, and there's a few of those out there.

Oh, it's a bit heavy for me... and doesn't come with brake mounts.

Forget about the too heavy part, dans used to list it as heavier.. but it doesn't come with brake mounts.. and it's expensive.

I know, but I'd rather my frame come with brake mounts.

EDIT: Now I kinda really want that frame.
