Powdercoating.

Alright, so i'm not happy with the paint on my Macneil, and since there arent many frames out right now that I like, and I care about how my bike looks i'm going to powdercoat it.

Not sure what color yet. I've been thinking white, because lots of colors go with it and you can do anything with it.

(crappy mspaint)

Or kind of a seafoam/mint green like this (this was an old pic I did before the wheel and stuff).

Gimme some ideas on what color it should be, only conditions are it has to be a solid color and light colors are a must.

Also, how the hell would I go about contacting Macneil about new stickers, there isnt acontact thing on their site www.macneilbmx.com?

These stickers would also adorn the top/downtubes:

This one it big, a little under half the size of my downtube.

I don't really like the sea-foam green, but the white would look cool...you would also have to get new handlebars because that might be too much white

Exactly. Get the mint green. Then eventually you can get the mint green haz lights to go with it. Or you could get it powdercoated purple like the FitEd... that would be sick.

I'm so curious about what the purple paint on that frame looks like in person...

Edwin rides it... it can't be bad. I really want to see it though.

I'm home sick from school today. Being sick sucks.

damn canadians... you guys should be so used to snow that it should be no big deal when you get a blizzard and should go to school anyways.

I'm dreaming. I'm jealous that you got to stay home from school because of a natural "disaster" while I am stuck at home with a stomach virus that I've had for a week.

Your not allowed to get a white bike. Paint or not. Not happening. I started it. Don't copy me. I still have to have a few words with the Fit team they all seem to be getting white frames. Bastards!

Haha. When I first saw his bike I immediately thought of your bike... and then I thought I was going crazy and decided not to comment.

Haha, UK always gets things soooo late compared to us Americans. I'll stick with my Edwin grips, but I really want gloves.

Never tried 'em. Edwins are too good to try something else. When I wear mine out, I'll get the purple Edwins. I want something purple on my bike.

You really like purple. When both those sets wear (which probably won't be too long as i've heard the are quick wearers) get some ODI Longnecks. You will understand what everyone goes on about

Mine haven't worn at all. Actually, my bike is pretty much a mess. I was taking apart my bike to take off the gyro and put on a straight cable and got distracted and still have the bottom piece of the gyro on.

That will keep you busy, try doing that to keep you from being bored. I find it fun to mess about and fix my bike. If i'm relly bored ill take apart my bike and fix it up again providing it's not the weather to ride the thing

Eh, I kept getting annoyed because I don't feel like messing something up and I don't want to hit it with a hammer to get it off.

I guess that works, if you don't cut your frame.
