Rnc?

What ever happened to them? Are they still around, I cant find their website.

As far as I know they made good stuff, I have a Ti sprocket from them and it's pretty decent.

Funny you make this thread...i was just telling my friend about the lever they made that didn't need a ball it could just pinch the cable becuase he always snaps his cables at the ball/lever area.

We couldn't find their site or any of their parts on any of the mailorders anymore. Even like old sale stuff.

It's funny you thought of this because I just looked up RNC and went searching for their cranks today. Out of business, and still can't afford them.

Good idea though, A monolever, or tech 77 with that technology would be sweet.

Why not? You would never have to worry about the ball on your cable ripping off and having to buy a new cable.

it would fray the cable and probally make it snap even easier and just end up being a big pain in the ass

Yeah, not to mention that 99.9% of people don't have any issues with the ball-ends.

Thats is true, I've never broken a ball off any cables I've had. It dosen't even matter to me, I don't run brakes.

Yeah come to think of it, i've never broken the ball off a cable. It's always those damn straddle cables or the housing breaking by the lever. But i fixed that now cause i have a little band/bracelet thing there so it can't stretch.
