On my mountain bike, fifty foot doubles all day.

On my BMX 10 feet or so because I'm a wimp.

Basically most of them look alike but the 510hx is stronger and wont break. It's also not too heavy compaired to other chains. Look for the gold box that it comes in.

Is the 6 pack good for park/street too? I just learned that the skate park down the road is open to bikes too, so I'll prob. hit it up a few times this summer and I'll prob. end up riding through the city and trying a few things along the way. haha

I know people have said the 6pack is the way to go, but this bike is also full 4130 and 5lbs lighter. How?

That bike has lighter, but much weaker parts. The Rockstar is utter crap.

haha thanks guys. Now I need to talk my dad into letting me use his credit card before the sale is over.

and for rims, spokes, bars, breakes, and a crank to fix my old bike is basically the same price as a new 6pack, so I think I'll go with the new 1. haha

Also how long of jumps do you guys hit and how much height would I need for a backflip/360. I do suck at most tricks, but I feel fine spinning.

Good luck learning backflips and 3's if you are just starting.
My trails (and by my i mean me and mude's) are anywhere from like 1 foot tall lips to 5 foot lips with 5-15 foot gaps. Nothing too big.

Thanks. I think around 8'-12' will be sick if i get a 5' face and 6' landing.

It snowed yesterday. AHHHH I hate it.

Ummm... just a suggestion: you may want to try to learn backflips in foam first.

haha I wish I had a foam pit. I don't know of any tracks around me, or any foam pits, so I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do. My friend tried one last year at my house and didn't get anywhere near as high as he needed to and didn't rotate enough. I took apart this old pos 20" mountian bike and made it into a trampoline bike so I'll try it on that 1st.

Lake jumping could help you. But your best bet is Woodward or Incline club (NJ). They've got foam and resi and aren't too too far away. Save up your money.

I just can't bring myself to buy the 6pack. I know that that is the main choice here, but I really would like to have a gyro. I can already do barspins and I don't want to have to change out parts on a new bike just so I can keep doing them. haha If I want a gyro and an all around good bike Dirt/Street/Park what is a good bike to go with? And is full 4130 really needed?

This summer I will be riding Dirt almost daily, street a couple times a week, and park once or twice a week.

I like the easterns. Can you tell me the difference between them and which one is better for what I'll need it for?

Anybike under 400 at danscomp is still in my price range, if you think any other bike is better.

Thanks guys.

The frames you listed went from crap to ****. The first one is full cromo, but also has gaping holes in it.

You can still do barspins and such with a straight cable. I do tailwhips and I'm running a straight cable.

Alright. Seems to me that 6-pack is the only way to go. It does seem pretty nice. I'll let your guys know what I do.

I went out with a shovel for about 20mins and tried to dig all the snow off one of my jumps... Man it's like solid ice at the bottom, and I think I'll need to do some more shoveling to get it to melt this weekend.

Straight cables are the only cables worth having.

I agree with this, since every gyro I've ridden doesn't stop 1/2 as good as my little brothers Haro X0. I still don't like the whole straight cable thing though. I'll order a linear cable with it, I think... haha

haha I understand that a straight cable can be a linear cable, but I doubt the bike comes with a linear cable on it...

The Eastern Element is pretty good still. Would be easyly as good a choice as the six pack, probly a bit better even.
