I_Suck -

can you explain what sitiuation would cause the seatstay to be in a position to impale you.

i cant imagine any where it would get bend into the complete opposite way

I was really just nameing a random bike part, but I suppose if you had real bad luck the seatstay could possibly snap off the seat tube and get you in the leg. It wouldnt happen, I was more suggestin that he'll brake that frame.
