Soo Confused
so i'm listeing to the local rock music station, DC101.
the new chemical romance song comes on.
normally at this point i would change the station or cut off my ears.
instead i continue listeing due to extreme lazyness and not wanting to get up.
so i ask:
WHAT THE **** IS THIS GUY TALKING ABOUT.
When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said, "Son when you grow up,
would you be the savior of the broken,
the beaten and the damned?"
He said "Will you defeat them,
your demons, and all the non-believers,
the plans that they have made?"
"Because one day I'll leave you,
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join The Black Parade."
what the hell does this have to do with a marching band and a parade of black?
and killing non-believers wha tht ****. and were do demons come into this? this is like a jackie chan movie or some ****
why are people dumb enough to listen to these idiots.

I think, basically, the father wnts his kid to get through life and the hard times and reach his dreams and goals... but that's just my interpretation of it.

Ok, here goes:
The kid's dad is black.
He used to be in the marching band, but they beat him up, broke his legs, and said "ddamn!"
He wants the kid to chop off the feat of everyone in the band (because once they're defeated, they won't be able to march.)
He told his son that the band is full of atheists, and they're planning a big party, and he's not invited because it's only for non-belivers.
The father and son are going to have an early Halloween party (even though it's still late summer) to spite the people in the band.
And then, they're going to get up early so that they can lead a Black Power parade, and they will throw bad candy down the tubas as the band marches behind them.

Speaking of drugs i was sad to see the other day and realized that one of my favorite Oasis songs "Morning Glory' was about cociane or something.
