I'll sell you a basset hound for an anti-freeze green Profile mini ss.

I'm tired of waking up at 7am every day and having to walk to my neighbors house to take care of him.

The only problem is I don't have that hub... and if I bought it, I would end up putting it on my whip instead of trading it for a dog. What does your dog look like anyway?

Pure-bred dogs are such a ripoff. I know someone who breeds and sells those little poodles, they're not good for anything as far as dogs go, but she gets like a grand for each one. You should just go find one at the pound, and hope it's not someone else's pet that they're looking for.

Yeah, just get a normal dog and save yourself a lot of money... there is no advantage to having a pure-bred dog other than to brag about it or show that you are rich, or both.

My purebred Pomeranian was free. And my purebred Shar-pei was only $225, direct from the breeder. You should only buy from a breeder, and there really is no reason to buy a purebred just as a pet. Although if you want one for a specific purpose, such as showing, breeding, or hunting, then you'll need a purebred.

a really good friend has a 'mutt' for hunting (and his pet)...chesapeake bay retriever & black lab...similar dogs, both hunting dogs...plus she's real nice

True. A quality bred dog is just as good. I suppose I should have said that you don't want any old mutt for hunting.

A happy, fat Britany Spaniel. Right now he needs a haircut and smells terrible. He's got a limp and bum leg from trying to hop a baby gate to catch a squirrel. I do believe he is 8 years of age.

How far are you from Canyonlands? Have you been there yet? I'd like to go sometime, but I guess the weather is sketchy in the summer..
