Oh, dear. It would be pretty expensive to bring your bike, and it will be a big hassle. Also, I'm interested in seeing how many people make fun of your accent. I'm near the opposite end of the east coast, so it's not such a great possibility.

I still have no idea where that is... the thread title makes me think of Borat. Borat sucked.

EDIT: Eightdip is the new Borat.

Don't worry eightdip, no one will make fun of your accent. Brits in Florida are almost as common as gators in the Everglades. I think that ALL of my relatives have visited Florida multiple times, actually.

As to the bikes--it would probably be too dear to bring one over. Regular bikes can be hired, but I doubt that you'd find a BMX bike.

I'm out on the West Coast, so I don't think I'd make it, sorry!

It shouldn't be too much. Just call in to the airport or check their websites to see how much you have to take your bike apart. My friend said that he didn't really have to take anything apart just like turn the bars down and sideways and put the seat down.

Really? That's interesting to know. I should have checked first before spreading bogus info, eh?

i think you should just rent a bike. and I also think that Borat had too much simulated mansex to be considered "good" or even "acceptable"

I just threw up a little in my mouth thinking about it.

If you want, come over to St. Petersburg, Florida (by Tampa). I can meet you and show you around. Huge BMX scene here, as well as track bike/fixed gear.
