My first flatland bike..plz help!

ok so im really new to flatland bmxing i started a month ago and so far i've been practicing on my friends Inertia bike :) which of course is a really nice flatland bike..so now my friend is moving and prolly wont see him anymore so i cant practice with his bike...i was wondering what kinda flatland bike i should get...my buddy is selling me a stolen Haro X2 for $60 brand new and was wondering if i could slap some pegs on it and get a free coaster wheel and start flatlanding? my friend recommended me DK bike for begginers but i dont have that kinda money right now :( so i was wondering if this is a good bike also i can get a Specialized and Diamondback stolen also for $45 each so what are ur suggestions?

EDIT: also is this a good bike? http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/bik/296472895.html

new_dharma 03-26-07 07:31 PM

buying a stolen bike = possible jail time (and bad karma!)

im_so_l33t 03-26-07 07:37 PM

not worried about jail time but yea my friend recommened the DK signal too but its kinda expensive...but i wanted to kno if the haro x2 was a good flatland bike?

mude 03-26-07 07:44 PM

mude 03-26-07 07:47 PM

My suggestion: ditch the friend who steals bikes, get a job, save your pay, and buy a bike legitimately.

FitRider 921 03-26-07 09:09 PM

You ****ing suck and should die in a fire. Don't buy a stolen bike. Save your money and buy your own. Expat should lock this thread.

KinetikBiker 03-27-07 06:11 AM

DK Signal.

callumrides 03-27-07 06:14 AM

you are the scum of the earth. have you ever had anything stolen. when you find that its gone you feel like **** especially if it some kid who has just saved up big dollars for this bike. now this dropkick loser gets it off his mate for some stu[id price so you mate can feed his addiction. get a job and save and do what the rest of us do.

This reminds me of fireteamcharlie

I agree with irimi--why are you here telling us about stolen bikes? What difference does it make how much they cost--they're stolen, dude.

This thread should be locked, and im so l33t should be banned.

Bike forums does not condone buying stolen property. Personally I believe that you should be in jail right beside the person that is actually stealing the bikes. If it weren't for people like you there would be a lot less people stealing bikes.

Anyway, like East Hill stated this thread should be locked.
