What is this Free Agent worth?

I know a guy who is looking to get rid of this bike, maybe in a trade. If he'll trade it, I'm gonna do it for sure. If not, how much should I offer? He thinks it's about 10 years old but it looks exactly like one a friend had 15+ years ago that I was highly envious of. :) The fork and bars are missing. What would make good replacements and how much will they run me? Sorry for all the dumb questions, I know zip about BMX these days but I think it would be fun to grab one for cruising around downtown on Saturday night...

From the looks of it it's either a mini or mini-cruiser. So, assuming you're at least something close to a grown man, it probably would be a poor fit for you. Even for just cruising around. Minis are pretty much made w/ a 120lb rider weight limit or so.
It's worth? I dunno - toss it on eBay & find out. Sorry I'm of no help there.
Maybe check around vintagebmx.com

Shucks, I didn't realize it was a mini. I'm pretty small (5'8", 150 lbs), but I'm an "adult". I thought just looked small cause it had 24" wheels. Can I have him measure it to see it it's a mini? What would the seat tube or top tube length be if it were a mini or mini cruiser?

I don't know about TT measurements on minis. It could very well be a mini-cruiser. Look at the wheels - they are very skinny. 1-3/8 or so. That's the give-away to me that it's a mini. It's unlikely you'd be able to fit a standard wheel in that rear.
