Anyone here think they can moderate the BMX threads?

Madman needs a break, so I'm willing to give one of you a shot, but don't think it's all fun and games. And you can't have it both ways, so you wouldn't be able to pick on noobs anymore, or break all the other rules.

I think wtp or KinetikBiker. Perhaps new__dharma?

FitRider 921 04-07-07 09:55 AM

Perhaps myself. :)

East Hill 04-07-07 10:04 AM

FitRider could make it work, too.

premiumbmx2005 04-07-07 10:06 AM

i will. but fit is dying to do it.

FitRider 921 04-07-07 10:06 AM

Thank you, my favorite person with a cat for an avatar.

Brian 04-07-07 10:11 AM

Fit's name was already mentioned in top secret discussions. You do realize that it's a lot less fun to be a moderator though, right?

FitRider 921 04-07-07 10:13 AM

Yay me. I do realize that, but I think I can make a positive impact to the bikeforums community.

But now I need to get a haircut.

Thank Brian. Just remember it's hard work. I will break kneecaps for you as necessary, however.

I'll go and do my research, and see if there is anyone else to consider. Don't get too excited just yet.

You don't give yourself enough credit. I've only seen you contribute positively to these forums. You've got my vote.

I'd rather avoid a good kneebreaking as I just started walking again and am on my way back to recovering and getting back to the way I used to be.

Okay, I'll be awaiting your decision.

Thank you, Fed3ral. However, my work schedule prevents me from being awake at what is probably the liveliest time of the day.

I think, too, that any of the people I've mentioned would find it a most rewarding experience. Difficult, but rewarding and enlightening. There are others who would do well too, but Brian only asked for one person as a volunteer. I am certain that whoever Brian selects will do a fine job.

The kneebreaking would only be for those misbehaving badly.

Oh, and for those who do not post properly in the Bike Check thread :D .

FitRider 921 04-07-07 12:26 PM

Haha. Nothing to worry about there. I am a good boy, and will not be posting a bike check for atleast another month and a half.

I could handle it, plus I'm on BF a lot now because of my hip.

Plus, the only person I make fun of is Maximan, bu I've given that up because he's to easy of a target.

Did I miss something? What about your hip?

Really nice job on the fixie, by the way.

I broke it about two years ago, then this winter I fell on it riding ramps. Once it was healed I was in a car accident and it's giving me hell still.

Thanks for the compliment, I still need to find a track cog though. I', fixed is sending me one for shipping and my friend picked me up a Dura Ace one from Vancouver.

KinetikBiker 04-07-07 03:53 PM

I'd be more then willing to do it.

I go on just about daily now as well.

But Fit is on 24/7. But he's also mean to newbies more then myself.

I say pick me or WTP. Cause were a bit nicer, and Fit rider needs to ride, not be on here any more then he allready is :)

gnr rocker 04-07-07 04:24 PM

I say don't let Fit be a mod, cause he's a ***** somtimes, and he'll ban us all ( madman first) for like 2 hours to see how we like it.

gnr rocker 04-07-07 06:00 PM

Pretty much, plus he likes his one word replies a bit to much.
