Cutting down handlebars

Is it really worth doing? What are the pros and whats the best way to do it? THANKS.

If you want your bars shorter, it's worth it.
Pros: You can make your bars how you want them.
Cons: If you cut your bars, you can never get your bars back to the way they were.

Best way to do it: Measure (twice), and then cut with a pipe cutter.

Screw the pipe cutter, just hack em off with a hack saw and file em smooth.

Or you could do it Fuzzystyle (which is what I did, without the filing).

:roflmao: Haha. I've actually been doing some thinking. One of my friends who skates has some cut-down slams. I could probably get them for like $15-$20. The only problem is that they are bright green... but I can always spraypaint them.

don't you have the fit pro with the green stickers on it?

FitRider 921 04-12-07 03:37 PM

No, I have the fit pro with light blue stickers on it.
