bikerguy45, you too are a work in progress .

Yes, you should have made a new thread, but since we're here:

Sandblasting. Or, you can try sandpapering it off. What chrome do you want to remove, and why?

There would have been no point making a new thread. There is no point even asking the Question, SEARCH THE FORUMS!

it hink its going to end up being gloss tan actually. clearcoat will do that to ya. anyways, its got little chips and such out of the paint all the way down to bare metal, would i just smoothe out the endges to make it less noticable when i paint?

Like East Hill said, sandblasting or sanding your frame and parts by hand will remove the chrome so you can paint. You probly don't need to take it all off though, just enough to give the paint something to stick to and roughen it up.

Don't worry F.T.W., the sandpapering/sandblasting was for bikerguy45, not you.

k I got confused there for a minute. I did however get al the stickers off, scuff it all up and get a coat of primer on there though, I got a little run in it, so I gotta go sand it out a little.

ok, so im running into a little problem, where the paint is gone. (chips, parts I grinded down with the wire wheel) you can definetly tell the difference between the two. I there any way to sure that? take the frame to bare metal all the way or what?
