So true. It's surprising if Mike Aitken ever breaks anything.

Meh. He puts just as much stress on parts as any other rider of his weight/size would. Not matter how smooth he is landing.

What's really funny is that rumor has it Chase Hawk ripped the headtube off of one of his signature frames a few weeks ago.

Not that i really care but, i thought it was hilarious.

They really design frames for the kids who try to ride like the rider whose name is on the frame, not for that rider.

He should have a much stronger frame, since he can actually do all the stuff that they try to do and fail.

Yeah, any frame 5 pounds or under just shouldn't be in production. I think they should be thought out a bit more tjan just about creating light frames.

He broke his original prototype frame. They hadn't gotten the new ones in yet and he could only get his hands on an fited since he was in england and that was the only frame the distro had. Nothing really too humorous about that.

Lots of people break lots of things.

I know the story.

I still find it humorous.

If i cracked/broke/jacked up my prototype frame, i'd probably have them make it stronger. But that's just me!

That dosen't really count, because the issue there was that the crank on his bike were one of the first prototype wombolts that had been beaten on for months and months of hard street, park, and trails riding. Mike aitken is smooth but still, when you are going as big as he does it's not suprizing that they broke to me.

Also take into consideration that in most of his Fitlife part he was doing big ledge manuals and stuff like that. I don't care how smooth you are manualing off a ledge that high is going to put alot of pressure on your bike. Just as much as anyone else his size/weight would.
