So today i dug up this old Dryer (sp?) at the trails today.
I thought that maybe i could turn it into a grill so we can have some hamburgers and hotdogs and stuff. It has alot of rust and some dirt and crap on the inside and i'm wondering what you all think the best way is to sanitize it enough that we can grill stuff with it. I allready had a small fire in it with some wood and fueled it by spray paint and bug spray, but it got a little sketch when i dropped the spray can inside and had to run for cover in case it blew up.
Anyways! What's a good way to make it safe and sanitary for my grilling purposes?
Also, what kinda charcoal should i get?
Thanks guys!

LYSOL! umm see if you can clean it out really good. try using bleach and stuff. Have a few fires to "burn it in" that should be pretty good. Well it would be in my eyes.

I would make the dryer into a jump or something and steal some bricks from a construction site to make a BBQ.

Just use the dryer for the fire holder part, hose and scrub it out with dish soap, cut off the top and get a metal grill and put it on the top so that's the part that the food touches.

The flames would still burn off all the toxins that will go into your food.

If you used a high enough heat it would burn those off first.
Make a fire in it, blow the coals with compressed air to build heat. Make sure it's burried to, so it doesn't melt.

just put one of the gril rack things over the hole where you would put the clothes and put the charcol in that. that way the food never actually touches the washing machine.
