I'm calling it!

With this new plastic trend going around i think that the next part company's make in plastic will be brake levers. I know some company's already make them for x-mart bikes but i think the BMX company's are going to start doing it.

So...i called it.

Get to work Mr. Nuno and Mr. Bauer!

I was just about to say a plastic sprocket, but there is already one of those. Hmmm... plastic headset? Plastic BB?

Ugh, a plastic sprocket? Why would someone want one of those?

I had plastic cranks on my first crappy wal-mart bike.

Yep. I don't know why anyone would want that either. It's extremely stupid.

Macneil and Fly are testing polyurethane bb's. At least one of those companys are.
And that's basically plastic.

Plastic brake levers would hold up just as much as a plastic sprocket would.

stop hating, its not plastic, it's lexan, or bullet proof glass. it will hold up fine. and a lever would just flex instead of break

I don't really see a problem with the Seawright sprocket as long as you are a smooth, pegless rider that only does tech stuff or flatland.

But then I am a weight nazi.

Macneil was, and it sucked. Granted, the reason it sucked was because it didn't actually save any weight.
