A GT Powerseries Pro is a great entry-level race bike for around $300. And if you're willing to pay a little bit more you can get a really good Redline Proline Pro for about $400. Also DK makes some good race bikes, such as the Fury($300) and Charger($400).

First off, please use proper spelling and grammar (or atleast spelling). As for buying a racing bike... I don't know. Someone more experience in that field could help you better than I could, so I don't want to give you false information.

It wasn't a smart ass remark. When you sign up to this forum to agree to do you best when it comes to spelling and grammar. Nobody likes to read sloppy posts with no puctuation and AOLese talk.

He is a mod (fit) and all of us here appreciate proper spelling and grammer. It is in the rules. If you don't want to follow the rules, go somewhere else

Man, I gotta ask why do your parents not want you racing? Thats not cool.
God forbid, you go out & get some exercise & have fun.
Anyways, any decent street/park bike can do double duty for racing when you're starting out. Just gotta take the pegs off at the track.

The Intense Pro XL is a really good bike, probably one of the best stock racing bikes out right now.
