New Rider
Just got a '06 Nyquist Pro, any good mods I should make?
Or what kind of problems have you all had with it? for Beo :P |
My Haro was pretty good. The only thing i disliked about mine was the grips, but that was personal preference.
|
Yeah - take off the brakes, levers and gyro, slam the seat, take off any reflectors or other useless **** if it has them, and get some good pedals such as Odyssey Jim C's.
|
ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrr, just ride it until you can recognize that something doesn't work for you. Then figure out what's good.
Don't listen to the remove this, slam that jargon. Bleh. |

Keep yer seat wherever you want, leave your brakes on and get the pedals that float your boat. |
I agree highly with madman, truth is, you don't need your seat for anything except for protection when you bail. Brakes are preference though, gyro is unnecessery and the reflectors are just obviously needing to be taken off (if they haven't already). Jim C's rule all

My seat got raised since i got taller. I like being able to sit with my feet on the pedals comfortably. And with a slammed seat i can't. |
I really appreciate the input...definetly raised the seat (i'm 6'2"), what kind of things do I really need to pay attention to while I'm riding, most of it seems pretty good but because of my ignorance to riding I don't really know what i'm looking for....
