Good price for 2001 GT Cruiser?

The frame is made of 4130 Chromoly. The Pro Series has all GT racing parts and comes ready to race (GT Racing crank, 24" GT Racing Rythym System Wheels/Hubs, ProMx MX V-2.0 braking system and GT Racing AA Pro Tires. The brake is in good condition and the line is tight. The tires are good, not much wear. The bike has never been raced and was used mainly to ride around. There are a few scratches here and there but for the most part it is in great shape.

What would be a good price for it on say ebay? I've found one for sale locally and want to make sure I am geting an okay deal before I pick it up...

it's sad that as a society we use eBay to determine the value of something...
what's the asking price of the bike (ballpark figure if you don't want to say exactly)?

Hah, $60. He called me to come get it, but hasn't called me back. I'm worried he got swamped by CL replies in the 20 minutes, so maybe I won't be picking up a random BMX bike :/ I don't need it, but I've been thinking of getting back into BMX, and then dirt jumping, so this would be a good start.

Well, it just became moot. His "wife" sold it. Which I'm guessing means he realized he was asking too little and took a higher offer, or just told someone that it was more expensive and they still took it. I can't blame him but damn I wish I had turned my ringer on and caught his phone call.

Yea, I haven't seen a better deal in DC, I'm bummed about it but I don't need another bike at the moment. I have a 700 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 story house, and I have 5 bikes in it at the moment...Space is at a premium

I've got a fixed gear, a SS cyclocross bike, and a full suspension mountain bike. I grew up racing BMX and velodrome, did dirt jumping for years etc. So, to answer your question...who knows?
