Well

I cut my bars to 27" and my lever ended up on the left side.

We'll see how this goes.

What's new ya'll, it's been 3 days?

minichamp31 06-20-07 08:32 PM

Cool. You have wide bars. What did you cut them with?

Lever on the left side. Sounds cool, but hard to get used to.

live4muzic2 06-20-07 09:38 PM

yeah it is hard to get used to. my freind broke his hand and complained that he could not hit his brakes, so i told him to switch it!

minichamp31 06-20-07 09:45 PM

Same with my friend, but he doesn't want to switch it. Whatever.

live4muzic2 06-20-07 09:58 PM

i dont know if he did though

KinetikBiker 06-21-07 09:05 AM

Yeah the lever on the left is going to kill me. I've already looped out of an abubaca from trying to squeze the wrong side!

But at least i can crank my turndowns without having to worry about it going in my pocket.

cwt341 06-21-07 09:47 AM

i bet you end up putting the lever back on the other side

I'm guessing you are a lefty. If not, then you have an unnatural turndown for a righty.

I ride left foot forward, yes. But i do things weird, like i footjam with my right foot instead of my left.

I ended up putting my lever back on the right before i rode today because when it's on the left, it bangs up my wrist on tables.

cwt341 06-21-07 03:26 PM

i knew you would switch it back and i do my footjams with my right foot to

FitRider 921 06-21-07 03:30 PM

I'm a righty, turn my bars right, spin left, left foot forward.

cwt341 06-21-07 03:34 PM

i ride left foot forward to

minichamp31 06-21-07 07:27 PM

When I make a sad attempt at a table, I put my bike to the right. When I start off the gate, my left foot is forward.

If you are left food forward are do tables to the right, you are doing them the hardway. It's easier to do them the other way, but plenty of people manage to get fully clicked ones opposite.

live4muzic2 06-22-07 10:22 AM

well im left foot foward 180 only the the right table left and bar spin left. if i table right i bail.

cwt341 06-22-07 11:44 AM

i never bail

KinetikBiker 06-23-07 07:15 AM

You ride like me then. Except i just started doing opposite tables. Mine are pretty bad though.

live4muzic2 06-23-07 10:11 AM

yeah i can only barely tip to the right.

I did that so I could ride with my cast on.

I was surprised when i switched my brake lever to the left how weak my left hand/fingers were. It took two of then to get an abubaca instead of one.

Yeah, i'm going to start using my left hand some more. Maybe i can get it a little stronger, and more coordinated.
