Wow, that guy must be very nice. I wish there were people that nice where I live.

live4muzic2 07-16-08 12:42 PM

That same guy should be dropping a pleg and demo vulcans at my door 5 days from now.

Punx 07-16-08 06:00 PM

Live4Muzic2, have you tried the plegs yet or are you getting them. I would like to know how they are.

wethepeople 07-16-08 09:40 PM

I like mine.

live4muzic2 07-16-08 09:55 PM

I've tried Premium Plastic Park Pegs. they are good.

Punx 07-16-08 10:37 PM

Are they a lot shorter or what?

live4muzic2 07-17-08 10:45 AM

They are only plastic, there is no sleve, so once you wear them down, your out a peg.

Punx 07-17-08 11:23 AM

Oh...
Are they worth $22 for 2?
I don't do a lot of grinds but i want to learn them.

live4muzic2 07-17-08 12:46 PM

Well, he paid 40, and the back peg wore down awfully fast, chipped, and somehow got ovalized. the inside of the peg is small so 19 mm bolts wont work and 17 mm with the flange for the socket wont work, I had to grind that off . and the socket almost gets stuck in the peg. I'd say plegs must be better and will last cause you can buy replacement sleves. Mind you he Darian isnt the smoothest rider. ( i rode his bike)

I actually used to work at the bike shop I got it from so I got it for a good too good to be revealed... it is about a 650 dollar bike though if you were just to walk in and buy it from a shop
