Definitely. You said you didn't have any. Obviously, you do. "those are just caps"
I don't know what you are trying to say, but you sure don't know how to read.

I agree, that's why I got the drop buster chain. I'm not sacrificing strength for weight. I'm 6'2", 180lb. The bike (so far) does well, minimal flex and it feels well balanced. I tried the Kuwahara Laserlites and the front end felt wayyy too light. This one feels right.

my frame is 5oz. lighter than his and my forks are 1.6oz lighter, brakes are lighter, my cranks are shorter,
tires are lighter, rims lighter, not sure about the hubs but I'm sure with Ti cassette, but maybe his cog is lighter.my seat post is chopped.
I don't have bar ends.

I just don't see how he could get it down 2 pounds. jealous, no I would like to see it. I can tell we have similar thoughts and dollars when it come to building a bike and I love his bike think it the Tits.
but to build a pro xl or larger to hold up a bigger guy lighter than 20lbs I want to see it done.

Hey Vert1go I'm not dissing you, I respect you, I'm just curious.
so if you think I'm a dick my apologies.

minichamp31 11-04-08 05:21 PM

live4muzic2 11-04-08 10:37 PM

'04 Diamondback Grind
has a 1664 seat (I think, I'm not 100% sure of the brand), and a Odyssey linear brake cable (not in pics). the rest is stock. best bike I ever got for under $100, mods included. not bad for a guy that only makes 200 bucks a year, huh?

pc_1453 11-10-08 06:21 PM

jesus, my computer's messed up... only attaches thumbnails. wtf?

Ryan k. 11-10-08 06:43 PM

pc_1453 11-10-08 07:53 PM

yeha, I totally know. I only have like $20 to spare right now, so I'll have to wait for some more cash to come in. still, it's great for the money I paid.

FuzzyRyder 11-10-08 08:25 PM

Thats an odyssey seat.

live4muzic2 11-11-08 12:07 AM

Someone needs a chain

pc_1453 11-11-08 06:14 AM

Thanks. I forgot the make of the seat. my other has a 1664, and I bought both at the same place, so I thought it would be safe to assume that one was 1664

pc_1453 11-11-08 06:14 AM

You obviously don't know how to read.
And live4muzic, I love everything about that bike, except the stem and possibly the front wheel.
Tell your friend to give it a much needed paint job though haha.

Ryan k. 11-11-08 06:10 PM

nice bike
