Big fan. My flatland bike shouts hypocrite though. 36's with 3/8's in front and 36's with 14 mills in the back. But my park rider is 48's and 14 mills front to back.

@ geologyjoe--I've always loved those Odi Mushroom stickers you have on your bars.

minichamp31 12-06-09 02:09 PM

#2 for sure.

minichamp31 12-06-09 09:08 PM

Ah, that's what I was thinking. Something to do this winter when it's 20* outside. I'll have my dad powdercoat her.

midschool22 12-06-09 10:15 PM

To really set it off, go #2, swap the striped seat for a solid white one and a purple cable over the blue one. THAT would be nice.

I could do that. I painted the seat myself, so sanding it down real quick and painting it solid white wouldn't be a big deal, but I noticed the white plastic gets dirty really fast. Oh well, nothing more paint can't fix. And I got that Ody linear cable for freeeeee. I had a white regular Animal cable.

I'm not hating, but I've always wanted to know if guys think they are bad ass if they have pink and purple stuff?

bmxinvasion 12-14-09 01:21 AM

I ride in bmx demo shows and wanted a bmx ride that would stand out . It also has a little bit of an old school look, bikes from the 80's were set up with loud colors.

Not me. I've always liked purple. Pink, not so much.

CMcMahon 12-23-09 02:31 PM

Yeah, I'm down with smoking some of that purple.

Eastern Sealed BB
Odyssey Twisted PC pedals
Snafu lite 7075 Sprocket 36T

Pretty nice, kinda old schoolish compared to today's standards too. A 5+ pound frame, Midways, a freewheel, big sprocket, and one of those seat post things. Don't see them too often.

Street rider 01-05-10 07:20 AM

haha Yea thats pretty awesome. Sounds like a fun build

hehe. compared to the bike i built before it (pictured below) the killing machine is the bike of the future! i did the midways because they were cheap and i am fat, the cheap homers necessitated the freewheel and bigish sprocket.
