@ geologyjoe--I've always loved those Odi Mushroom stickers you have on your bars.

#2 for sure.

Ah, that's what I was thinking. Something to do this winter when it's 20* outside. I'll have my dad powdercoat her.
|
To really set it off, go #2, swap the striped seat for a solid white one and a purple cable over the blue one. THAT would be nice.

I'm not hating, but I've always wanted to know if guys think they are bad ass if they have pink and purple stuff?
|
I ride in bmx demo shows and wanted a bmx ride that would stand out . It also has a little bit of an old school look, bikes from the 80's were set up with loud colors.

http://hphotos-snc1.fbcdn.net/hs215...._4276371_n.jpg After building a flatland bike and wishing I had something a little lighter and more streetable, I put this bike together with some new stuff and some old parts lying around. 2007 Solid Killing Machine 20.75" frame Rockstar 14mm fork Old rusty Schwinn bars. Cut down .5" on each side Solid Headset 2000 Dyno stem Odyssey Midway rims laced to G-Sport Homer hubs. 4 cross, under 3rd, with odyssey black, racing spokes. Odyssey 13T freewheel Odyssey Elm street rear tire Dyno stock front tire Eastern Stealth cranks 175mm Eastern Sealed BB Odyssey Twisted PC pedals Snafu lite 7075 Sprocket 36T Snafu Conrad seat post clamp Odyssey PACT chain tensioners Animal Edwin grips DC 990 rear brake DK linear brake cable Walgoose seat and seat post. KMC Chain |
Pretty nice, kinda old schoolish compared to today's standards too. A 5+ pound frame, Midways, a freewheel, big sprocket, and one of those seat post things. Don't see them too often.
|
