I don't guess when I say which I like best. For flatland, the shorter the better. More like 160 mm - 165 mm.

How tall are you?
How big are your feet?
How long is your TT?

And also the brand of crank can limit your size choices. Profile has the biggest selection.

I'm 6 foot and i've got huge feet. I have 175mm Primo Hollowbites now, but if i ever got new cranks they'd be 170mm Profiles. Because i like to have more room for my feet on x-ups and stuff.

Go for profiles in 175mm. As simple as that, probably the best cranks ever. Primo cranks suck

My Primo cranks are just fine. Although some of the older ones have trouble with the pedal bosses or whatever coming out. But i think they solved that with hollowbites.

Naa it's just that i've seen way too many hollowbites crack and they're way too chunky. You'll be fine though because you mainly do trails so there's less stress on them.

Yeah dude, just go for Profile's. They have 'em for $160 in Dan's Comp and that comes with the bottom bracket and everything. But I already voted.

I hate the look of the demolition ones. They are the same size as the FSA Smack Daddy's which are wayyyy too fat

Im sure they are good cranks though

If you think they're fat, you have to see Shimano Saints and DXR's. They are some fat cranks.

Exactly 2.

They're chunky as hell, 41 thermals are better cranks and around the same price.

The demolition cranks aren't fat at all. They are the same as my Fit canks... And yes primo cranks are gay, and they make bad sounds.

What's the good job for? And when them or the Saints(same thing but black) are on a bike, they don't look bad.
