My run-in with the po-po
 

So I am always riding at night in town since there are street lights and barely any cars. We have no skatepark or anywhere to ride during the day so i ride the town at night. So anyways, this cop stops me a couple nights ago and tells me that I need a light visible from 500 feet or whatever. I get the light come back out and start riding, everything is fine. The next night, I come back out with my light in my pocket because it looks really stupid and since I didn't have it I stayed on this one way street that is really bright. SAME COP comes down and stops me again tells me to put on my light even if it is bright on the street. So I do, no questions and everything is fine. I go back out to ride tonight. I have my light on, he drives by a couple times and looked at me. Everything seems fine and I was glad I could finally please this guy. Then he pulls into a parking lot right next to the one i was currently practicing manuals on and shines his spotlight on me. So I'm like F this I'm going to go to a different spot. So I hop up on to the sidewalk right next to him go into the street and do a few manuals (which I'm getting decent at) and get across the street. He turns his lights on whips out of the parking lot crosses the street and stop on the wrong side of the street and calls me over.

Me: hi.

Cop: Me you and this bicycle are getting really old.

Me: I have my light, and your the only old one, this thing is brand new.

Cop. Listen, if you want to ride your bike don't be riding in the street practicing your little stunts go in a parking lot for that.

Me: ooook

Cop: And if you want to ride in the road you need to be within 18 inches of the curb and riding in a straight line. I suggest you go home and read the b-b-b-bicycle t-t- r-regulations (hes stuttering) and start following them.

Me: ooook

Cop: Don't let me stop you out here again.

Me: trust me, I won't :)

So I'm on my way home and I pass by this hot girl and some 40+ year old man having a sexual encounter on the stairs of the bar. Yet the cop would rather worry a harmless kid on a bike. So I get home and watch this http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1768235 and everything was good again.
