Obviously. I didn't say the same as in everything, just the movements of the board and bike.

It's not difficult to grasp the concept of bunny hopping - pretty much anyone who rides a bmx can visualise the way it's supposed to work i.e. not brain surgery. Actually doing it is an entirely different thing. Often the harder you try, the more difficult it is, hence my point.

No, the high pants are not on. It's just a matter of common sense. Riding at something is only going to get you hurt unless you have the ability and the wherewithal to actually hop over it. It will only get you more discouraged.

With all due respect fitrider, I'm sure someone who can 360 barspin has the wherewithal to bunny hop :p

360 barspins while standing on the back pegs are dumb. I used to think they were cool, till I learned the real flatland barspin. And now I'm working on my 720 barspins. :D

:roflmao: that picture is awesome W.T.P

the way i learned to bunnyhop some years ago was to use speed bumps.....

use the bump to get the front tire up...and once its up pull your legs and arms up...like, lifting the bike.

after you can do it that way, doing it without any bumps for assistance should come just as easy..

Thats essentially how I learned, 'cept I used a hockey stick instead.

live4muzic2 09-03-07 10:56 PM

i used where driveways go up.

dimdig 09-07-07 01:54 PM

got the bunny hop, now working on a barspin without grabing the seat then moving to the pedals
i can bunny hop all of 2 inches now, but am working on gettin harder

You could try learning the bar hop next. It's not that hard or anything, just kinda scary when you first try it.

eightdip 09-07-07 03:51 PM

I still can't do them, I'm gonna set myself to learn them though
