Old bike stolen - New bike suggestions
I got my bike stolen, haro x2, so im buying a new one.
For this bike i'd like to build one myself w/ custom parts but the total is too high for my budget. It's $600 and i can't get it lower.
The complete bikes go for a lot cheaper then if i built it myself so i guess i have to start looking at those for my bike.
I've been eyeing the eastern battery '08.
It's fairly decent, it has a good weight, small chainwheel (better for mistakes on ramps and jumps), 3pc, double wall rims. Now it's not all name brand parts like snafu and etc but its not bad.
What do you think about that bike?
My budget is $270-330
The '07 model off dan's comp is $300 + $22 shipping and if I buy it locally it's $330 + $33 tax.
https://www.easternbikes.com/ is the url if you need specifications.
They have the '08 models listed on their website and i like the '08 color scheme better (all black, chrome walls) but i can't find them retail, just the 07's.
The eastern element is very sexy but i can't afford it. The white color scheme is bad ass and the parts are good on it but its $400 and $330 is streaching it since the original limit was $300.
What do you think? Should i get the battery if i find a 08 model or find a used element?

Fit AM if your not real tall. The new fits are amazing, and Easterns tend to have crappy parts on them.

I'm 5'6 and 140 pounds.
Im not weak but im not tall.
I decided on the eastern element, does it really have ****ty parts? It looks pretty bad ass. New budget is $400

then what about the Fit Pro Park '08
That seems pretty nice except the pink stickers.
It's for guys right?
Not sure because of the light blue version and the white/pink version

is it really better? It's $80 cheaper. Wouldn't that equal to $80 of better parts in the element?
I'll prolly be ordering it today
Thanks for all your help.
EDIT:
new decision 2 HIP PLAYBOI
the fit seemed too cheap and didnt have a full chormoly frame.

That is pretty nice. By the way, I hope you know that just because it's cheaper doesn't neccessarly mean that the parts are worse than something in higher price.
