Shimano Hub Question
Question for you oldschoolers...
A friend of mine gave me an NOS Shimano rear hub. It's quite unusual in that it's high flange and it's a cassette freehub body, but the freehub takes a 3-speed or coaster brake sproket and a hog ring. I think it's for a bmx back in the old days (your father's bmx!). It's never been laced to a rim before and I'm planning on using it for a singlespeed cruiser bike. Does anybody know what model name it is or does it even have a model name?
It has the letters D and E stamped under the Shimano name on the hub shell.
