i guess the anodizing on primo spokes make them get loose easier, but im only going by what i heard...i heard it a long time, btw.

i would rather the fly cranks. in my opinion they are designed better, and look better.

FuzzyRyder 12-03-06 06:55 PM

You are hardly going to notice anything with a spoke weather is its bad or not. And where is this news of people having trouble with wombolts coming from? Everyone I have talked to has been extremely happy with them. The flys havent been out long enough to tell if they are acctually that great.

premiumbmx2005 12-03-06 06:56 PM

yeah, i could care less what spokes i have.

the wombolts have only been out a little bit longer than the flys have.

theyre both great cranks though.

I've looked and they are Prolite spokes. I gues they're just a rip off of the primo spokes.

You've got a nice ride!

How close are those Fly cranks to the Wombolts, they like very similiar...

premiumbmx2005 12-05-06 04:56 PM

the fly cranks are 3 peices but only use one bolt...its pretty tech, haha.

They call it 2.5, but it's really 3.

Yeah, i know now becuase i got with it and checked them out.

I still think i would stick with Profiles if i got new cranks, which won't happen soon.

I'd go with Flys. Then Wombolts. Then Profiles.

wethepeople 12-06-06 02:12 PM

I'm probably going to pick up some 41thermals after christmas, because they're on sale for $200 Canauck bucks.

premiumbmx2005 12-06-06 03:13 PM

i would go with flys than profiles than wombolts

eightdip 12-06-06 04:06 PM

Same for me

FuzzyRyder 12-06-06 04:10 PM

Just wombolts here.

premiumbmx2005 12-06-06 04:14 PM

i love my profiles...the only complaint is the the part surrounding the bolt gets dented in making it hard to tighten/loosen.

Get the hop up kit. It will fix your problems.

Oh, yeah.

Well i think that aside from those flush spacers you can use the compression bolt things which are flush with that weird edge thing on the cranks that dents...

HaroSupra99 09-09-07 10:56 PM

I ride a Haro Supra with full 4130 chromoly frame, rear Tektro V-brake, Maxxis tires on front and rear and aluminum Haro rims.
