how to make a frame raw?

i have a red eastern grim reaper that i want to make raw. whats the best way to do this?

yeah just the best way to strip the paint, the best clear coat to use and how many layers. all that stuff.

for paint stripping, id guess just a bunch of paint thinner or a good sander.
are you trying to get the natural metal look with clear coat over for protection?
for the clear coat, do a lot of THIN layers. itll make it nicer. and you should wait a good amount of time in between for coats to dry. itll be nice. just take your time with it and youll be happy in the end.

I would have someone give it a clear powdercoat. They will usually strip the frame in the process. The finish will look much nicer and hold up a lot better than any spray on clear coat.

paint on aircraft stripper, and than just scrape it off 45 minutes later.



Use clear epoxy spraypaint for clearcoat.
