20" rim widths

i bought a set of rims off ebay, after comparing the two rims, it seems that the rear one is slightly wider than the front one.
Is it supposed to be like this or did he just send me the wrong size combinations?

the size is supposed to be 20x1.75

ive never heard of one that's 1.5, lol
but when measuring them, is it the distance from the outside to the outside, or inside to inside?

looks like you have some generic single wall rim and an alex mx-22 which is basically a thick single wall rim with some reinforcement on the sides. crappy little single walled rims are usually a bit narrower. Neither of them are really going to put up to hard riding. you can still run the same tire sizes on either.

wtf, i just measured them and the rear one is almost 1.25 while the front is 1 inch.
i know this isnt right because these wheels are the same as the ones currently on my bike, and they're 1.75

No, don't worry about it. Put it on, stop worrying and ride your bike.
