its not harder to manual your just not use to how much faster you roll causing you to have trouble balancing the front end.

No, its just not what you are used too, If you learned to manual with high psi you'd have no issues. If anything its easier because there is less resistance for you to balance against to keep the front end up, and it allows you to manual quicker, and longer without losing speed.

yea i always used to run a low psi. learned how to manual, then got high psi tires. made it a lot easier to manual long distances.

i also used to run a low psi, now i run 85 (my tyres are rated 85-110). it's not so stupidly hard that the bike rattles around over every bump but it's way more responsive. i don't think i'll go much higher though.

at least go 110. rolls good, feels good. and if you weigh more than 130 lbs, then it should have a little give in it, which is just about perfect.
