I'm gonna start bmx
I am 14 years old, and I plan on starting bmx. I want to build my own bike on Dan's Comp. I got about a $500-$700 to spend. Basically, I know very little about bikes. What all parts do I need, and what kind of frame should I get?

for $700, your custom bike isnt going to be all that great. unless you build everything from eastern parts, but everyone here will highly advise you against that. just buy a stock bike, and then keep the extra cash for parts when you need them.

With $700 get the kink apex. It has top of the line parts and i heard it weighs in at like 23 pounds stock. It's sick!

Wow. You should research the parts you buy before getting them.
I just bought a Oddysey Dirt Fork yesterday for $30 and putting it on today -
