I have an idea
i have an idea. ok so for christmas i was going to get a new frame and like all the parts but know im thinking of getting the premium duo and putting the back rim i have right know on it. then buying a purple proper front rim. also buying S & M slams xlt with a 23t colony chainwheel purple. is that a good idea?
Seriously. Stop posting so many threads.
It's so annoying. I look at this forum everyday and there is at least 2 or 3 threads from you every day. |
lol harsh

i was just kidding its just im trying to get tips so i dont waste my money
Don't do it in so many threads then.
All your threads are about frames and what not. |
oh ok
Why would you get a premium duo when you have a am. It's only like $100 more. So you just wasted like $1000 and for like $300 more you could have had a custom bike...Just upgrade it when stuff breaks, you don't need to buy a new bike again.
what that doesnt make sense. i dont even have it later and the bike is 420 and the parts im getting are like 200 so thats only 620
Yeah but you spent like $300 on the am, and probablky like $100 or $120 on the backwheel..
i dont like that bike though its to heavy and im going to take the back rim off and put it on the premium when i get it and then sell the rest of the bike to my friend
So...It would be way better to put like $600 in into the am...
wheels, bars, seat, post, fork whatever you want. |
ya kind of a geuss but that would be tons of stuff like a frame bars forks rim sprocket and stem. thats a lot of stuff
cause the frame and bars and forks on the am are hi ten steel
ok so 500 dollars in parts or the stolen cheater
on the stolen cheater i know the brake lever is oddysey but is the u brake oddysey to.
Wow triple posts...Edit it not post 3 times...
Don't get a new bike for the hundreth time. By stuff when it brakes. Who cares if it's hi ten steel, just ride it til it breaks. |
punx
im actually proud of you |
no. cause my bike is to heavy. i need bigger bars and a bigger fram.
Thanks Eightdip.
Your bike is probably like 28 pounds. Quit your *****ing. There are people that come to the skatepark in my town with mongoose bikes who can't afford bmx and still try and bust out... |
28lbs is NOT a heavy bike. Shedding 2lbs is not going to make you a better rider... and chromoly isnt exactly going to have you throwing down tailwhips either. the more you ride it the stronger you will get and the easier it will be to throw around your bike, or if you want to speed up the process start working out. replacing parts that arnt broken is already a waste of time and money, never mind replacing a whole bike. over time replace your bike piece by piece and by the end you will have a custom bike built to your preferance. odds are the next complete you buy you will end up not liking for some reason or another too. You already have a bike...is it the greatest? no, but it doesnt have to be and there will always be better bikes. Not to mention its a WAY betterbike then most kids have to ride... i've seen some pretty crazy stuff done on a xmart bike that had to of easily weighed 40lbs. Your bike and its high ten steel are plenty good enough for you for now, how do i know that? you havent broke it yet. I'm telling ya, invest the money into what you have, that weigh you end up with a bike setup for you and in the end will be built of better components then a complete.
man up and ride... bmx is so not trendy anymore.... dont you know everyone os quittign bmx to ride razors... cuz they are only like 2 lbs???? lik OMFG!!!
and you dont need bigger bars, you want them. **** when i was 14 i had a 42 pound 2-hip pork. and i could still hop onto bar-high rails back then... man up!!! |
