no more slipping bars.

I'd rock a pair or the 27.5's.

Street rider 03-20-09 05:01 AM

sweeeeeeeeet

CMcMahon 03-20-09 02:37 PM

Do you people think before you post your thoughts, or do you just think "oh, well KHE is a German company, so this must be a well-tested product that won't snap and/or send me flying the first time I get in a crash that would normally just move my bars back a few degrees, much less result in needing to replace my bars and stem when the paper-thin tubing bends."

fuzzbox 03-20-09 06:35 PM

I never said it was good and wouldn't break.

CMcMahon 03-21-09 12:11 AM

I was actually generalizing Street Rider.

ascend 03-21-09 06:28 AM

I really liked the bit where the part you're meant to be holding onto is weakened by having a bunch of holes drilled through it

minichamp31 03-21-09 10:09 AM

I don't think that they would affect anything. It seems like they're positioned close enough to the end that there really isn't that much pressure on that spot. If they were in the bend of it, it would just be flat-out stupid.

FuzzyRyder 03-21-09 01:51 PM

Yeah, MacNeil has been doing that with their silencer bars for a long time. Helps prevent throttle grip too.

Ryan k. 03-21-09 05:50 PM

i dont like them.

Street rider 03-21-09 09:05 PM

dude im just saying that its nice to have something like that where you wont have to make a bunch of adjustments, or have to worry about it slipping. i mean yea, sure, i have normal bars and i probably couldnt scrape up the cash for something like that, but its kinda cool

minichamp31 03-22-09 09:02 AM

What would you do if you don't like how they're positioned?

Street rider 03-22-09 11:11 AM

piss and moan about how much money i'd just spent on **** lol

Probably this.

But I'm actually not to picky about my bars as long as they aren't chicago'd.

live4muzic2 03-22-09 07:23 PM

Chicago'd??

ascend 03-23-09 01:41 AM

leaning forwards. no idea why it's called that though. anyone?

Street rider 03-23-09 01:32 PM

i saw a kid at my local skatepark try and actually ride with his bars parallel with the ground lol

Maybe it originated with a rider from Chicago. No idea.
