But back on topic. If i wanted to do this kind of paint job in my garage with some store bought cheap crap in cans, how would I go about doing so? Will any old paint remover do? Will any old metal paint work? Where do I start?

I have though and I don't like it either. I would rather smoke a cigarette. To each their own.

Regardless I think the paint job is pretty sick, esp because it is quality work. I bet that up the resale value to the right person by a bunch.

well dont go with cheap crap cans youll be in for a surprise. i didnt remove the old paint just sanded it with some 320 then 400 and sprayed primer then paint and clear. i used montana graffitti paint for the colors they have a awesome selection of colors, cant find montana locally look up rustoleum it takes a day or 2 to dry but its really durable, which is why i clear coated with it.from start to finish paint took 3 days including decals excluding interruptions. you can start by taking the bike apart lol.
