Haro Group 1's .. Opinions
What's up everybody, I'm newjack.
So, I've owned the same 2 Haro Group 1's
since the mid-nineties, when I bought them new.
.. just recently ..
I decided to get back in the loop after a 6 year hiatus.
I broke out the bikes and rebuilt them today ..
.. regreased, retightened, all that jazz.
For the amount of time I've owned them
and the abuse the took in the past
they still seem really solid!
But, hell, what do I know??
I've been away from the BMX scene for so long now.
Anyhow
.. my question is ..
how do my Group 1's stack against the competition these days?
If I was go to back to the track ..
.. would I look like I just blasted from the past, or what?
Thanks in advance, people.

go blast em, not shure about the bikes, but we will find out if it's the ride or rider-yes?
Have fun with it. Welcome.

I rode all day, every day
on these bikes when I was a kid ..
.. I even raced them @ Waterford Oaks.
They were solid bikes back then, never a fuss.
Hopefully I still have the skills to pay the bills ..

god I remember I rode one of those for a brief bit....spraypainted black with some blue araya wheels on some tioga comp IIIs.....omfg thats back in the day!!!!!
I would give them a go just to see if you've still got what it takes but believe me, some modern iron will open you eyes to what 10 years of progression will do to the sport.....my old group one compared to my last race bike.....its a world of a difference.....but thinking back on it......it was a great feeling bike??? wow...I'm old...

I had one I'm rebuilding right now. It's an rs 1 i think 88 blk and red. I think that with the right parts they are just as good. the only limiting factor is the headset size is different. Rock on!
