Fit bikes.
Im looking into getting a new light weight bike for Dirt/street/park use and thought the fit team bike looked good.
Is this bike any good? Cheers :) |
dunno... let me know when you find out.

The bike has a little bit more upper level parts on it than entry level. 100% 4130 frame will make it stronger and the rest of the bike looks like it has a pretty solid design.
The cranks may be questionable, but they aren't crap it doesn't seem like and I haven't heard a lot of complaints about them either. The wheelset is marginal. Not chrome plated and no focus on braking performance at all it looks like. I would say that they are giving you a pretty good bike with only a so-so wheelset and that is where they are saving the most money. It is a reputable company though and you should be happy with it, but be ready to replace the wheelset at some point with a better one. NOTE: You probably won't find another bike WITH a good wheelset at that price, so it isn't a bad thing, just something to be aware of. |
i ride a fit series two, coolest bike ive ever owned
|
I like the fit edwin... If you're a breakles rider its one sweet ride.. Alot of my friend want it, but can't afford it. They're ""cool"" brakeless riders.
|
get the fit complete, and use the money you saved from buying a crappier more expencive complete and buy a chrome rear rim, problem solved
if i had to buy a complete fit is what id get |
Dont know how much of a difference it makes to you, but the fit completes areent the actual fit frame.. they are "replicas" made in another country.. dont know what country...
|
they are a taiwanese made frame, exsact same geo as the series one, just not made in america. still very good for the price
|
definately
|
