Help ID an old GT
I was curious to know if there's any info out there about this bike. Most markings are worn off. I plan on fixing the rear wheel up and rehabbing it for my son, who will fit it in a year or two.

Wait, it's not the exact bike.... the dropouts are different, as is the TT/ST/Seat Stay area. Same color and sticker color scheme though, so I bet it is more like a 97 as you suggest.

To help in narrowing down the model of the bike in the first post, it's a Dyno, not a GT. (Dyno was one of GT's brands) I just noticed the Dyno "D" stamped into the dropout.

ha- maybe that's why the previous owner must have taken off the main brand sticker, to try and make it look like a GT. But that would have to be stamped upside down on that dropout-- I still think it's a mid/low-range GT.

That bike is veryyyy similar to my bike. i have a 1997 DYNO VFR. your frame is just a little thicker than mine.

I have a 97 dyno vfr and the rear doesnt look like that *haha i too removed the dyno decals in exchange for GT and replaced alot of the dyno parts lol*
