chain wheel for racing?

I also need to get a new chainwheel for racing... i am geting a profile set cranks and also chainwheel, but how many tooth should i use?

44/45/46 Any of those 3 are often used by racers depending on the track and their own conditioning. They then match it to a 16 tooth freewheel in the back.

Pick the size you want to start with - maybe 45 - then get the other sizes as well at some point later on.
