I'm sick of Ride US. The UK Ride is really awesome compared to it, with better photography and a better balance between street and other riding disciplines. Flatland, dirt, and vert are still ridden by a bunch of riders and it sucks that Ride USA doesn't do jack to cover that stuff.
I mean, they will go on a road trip to another country and it's like not one person in that country rides anything but street. It's just not accurate and doesn't present a lot about the sport. It also really isn't that informative of a magazine. They tell stories more than talk about what stuff is out there and what stuff is new. They will show a photo of a new product, but don't actually go out and test stuff.
It's like they are photographers and writers... but not riders. Even though I know they DO ride. It just isn't my favorite magazine.

If there are no major flatland events I get to next year, I will probably go up to Chicago for a week and ride with him.

I quit reading mags for the simple reason that handrails and big park tricks are not my style, I download a video on occasion to see garrett byrnes and Taj ride, their street style is definately my biggest influence, just pegless

1. My real name doesn't matter - when I am online, I run bmxtrix and that is all that matters. I don't ride for publicity, I ride for me.
2. Depsite riding for me, I have been in Ride, BMX Plus, and on Props (briefly) as well as on ESPN and other stuff over the years. Nothing recently though as I am working full time and not riding full time. I used to ride 3-5 hours every day and do pretty well at contests, now I don't compete, I ride and have fun.
