BMX/ DIRT JUMP starter bike for 9 year old Canada, any suggestions???

Any suggestion for my 9 year old, he is small under 60 pounds, he wants to do some starter tricks at a skate park and also do dirt jumps at a track by our house, looking for a beginner bike, people have recommended Norco and Dimondback?
