Nishiki bmx bike?

I got a bright yellow (orangish?) Nishiki bmx bike in a trade. It's about 15-20lbs. He told me it's a 2010 diamondback nishiki bmx bike. I know that nishiki is it's own brand, but he claims it said something in the original manual that said diamondback or something. He told me he paid like $300 for it in California during a vacation. I don't really know what this bike is or if it's good. Does anyone know anything about this bike? Thank you.

It's likely that nishiki and diamondback are owned by the same company
since both brands are sold at dicks sporting goods.

It would probably rate around low to mid end compared to what a dedicated
bike shop would carry, but it should still be rate well above what you might find
at walmart.
