How much is this bike worth?

I have gotten years of enjoyment out of my Haro BackTrail Xo, however I would like to upgrade to something from Eastern Elements. The bike is a 2003 and its very used and has been banged up quite a bit. I have replace everything exept the frame and the cranks. I think I orignally paid $200, but I have nearly another $200 into the bike. How much do you think I could get out of it on cragislist?

Not much, generally you do not get back the money you put into a bike, even if the parts are new(unless new parts are not installed and in box). maybe try 150 and see if anyone will throw an offer, take a look on local craigslist and see what people are listing similar bikes for. I personally where I live would pay no more than 50 or so for a bike that old, especially with OE cranks.

I have the 2k3 Haro Backtrail X1, not a bad bike, but it was free and I put some work and money into it as well. I've seen similar in rarely used condition go for $ 150 or so on CL. That's not to say that's what they sold for either ? I figure I could've gotten similar for what I put into it without the hassle of hard labor, I'll ride it for as long as I want it and figure nobody will steal it (first) because it's a rattle can paint job. I figure to ride it and not get much for it just the same. I did go to a park concert and got a lot of looks and compliments for the NOS restoration job, but again, don't figure anyone would give me much for it. Most people my age were riding "adult" atb/mtb bikes there anyway. One guy had the Surly 1x1. As I recall, I probably was the only one even riding a 20" bmx that day ? The park is around the corner so I didn't have to ride it very far, otherwise I would've probably rode the atb over too.
