Then you would have to give us a parts list so we can disect it.

Profile cranks - with Ti spindle.
Euro bottom bracket
Euro frame/lighter frame (save up to a pound or more!)
LIGHT wheelset.
No pegs - what would you use them for on dirt?
3/8" axles - you don't need 14mm if you aren't grinding - or only grind occassionally.
Odyssey Dirt forks instead of heavier ones - maybe go with race forks?
36 hole rims instead of 48s.
Thompson Elite seatpost or MacNeil seat/post combo.
No gyro - just rear brakes - Dia-Compe 990's
13 tooth freewheel, 36 hole sprocket
Less beefy chain

Online, weights are often off a little bit, but if you don't get parts that are appropriate for your type of riding - if you overbuild, then you can expect your bike to weigh more. There is no reason your bike shouldn't be sub 30 pounds for dirt use only.

get some wtp excaliburs there great for anything, profiles, w/ a ti spindle, and cassetes. you dont have to run a 25-9 or anything but there light, or get the fly hubs.
